Ask The Preachers
An AI research application that answers questions in the words of Spurgeon, Edwards, Wesley, Whitefield, Moody, and Müller, quoted and cited from their own work.

About the project
Ask The Preachers is a live sermon-research and AI application. It began with Charles Spurgeon’s sermons and now covers Spurgeon, Jonathan Edwards, John Wesley, George Whitefield, D. L. Moody, and George Müller. A structured historical corpus stays separate from a reviewed position library and the runtime that answers a user’s question.
Research tools search sermons and locate material by Scripture passage, while the conversational layer distinguishes source text from generated reasoning. The application connects research, source retrieval, and reviewed answers in one experience.
What the application supports
Structured sermon research
A parsed corpus supports sermon search, passage lookup, and access to source material.
Source and answer separation
The architecture keeps original text distinct from generated or reviewed interpretations.
MCP research tools
A separate research interface exposes retrieval capabilities to connected tools.
Reuse before live generation
A library-first answer path can reuse reviewed entries and reserve live generation for questions that need a new answer.
